SRWC 2019 Scholarships

Saugus River Watershed Council is now accepting applications for the following two scholarships: $500 scholarship for environmental leadership, and $500 Pam Harris Memorial Scholarship.  Applications must be received by April 12, 2019. Download application here.

EARTH DAY Volunteer Cleanup @ Saugus River in Lynn and Saugus

Volunteers will work together to clean up Marshview Park in Lynn and areas along the Saugus River in both Lynn and Saugus. Volunteers will meet at Marshview Park adjacent to the Saugus River on Boston Street in Lynn across from the former O'Briens. Gloves, bags and refreshments provided. All are welcome to help the Saugus River Watershed Council, Bike to the Sea, and MA Department of Conservation and Recreation celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at this event.

There will be prizes for the top 3 in each age group.  Fish printing, watershed activies and more. Contact us for details!

SRWC Water Quality Monitoring

SRWC staff and volunteers conduct monthly water quality monitoring at sites located throughout the Saugus River Watershed.

Breakheart Reservation "Fall Festival", Saugus

Department of Conservation and Recreation, Friends of Breakheart Reservation, SAVE, Saugus River Watershed Council and others host fall activities for the whole family. Decorate pumpkins, make cider, learn about wildlife, arts and crafts, and more.
